ISS Guided Tour : What is it like to live 205 miles above the Earth?

TThis is amazing...ever wanted know what it felt like to actually live in space? NASA ISS Commander Suni Williams gives us an HD tour of the International Space Station, just hours before she returned to Earth on the Soyuz TMA-05M spacecraft.

It's a fascinating look at what life is like on the station, and reveals a lot of details about the astronaut's daily routine. Like their phonebooth-like sleeping quarters, the floating exercise bike that doesn't shake the station to pieces when they ride, and the Cupola observation module (~11.40 min) which provides stunning views of the Earth below (and resembles a certain Millenium Falcon cockpit). It does feel a lot more cramped than you would normally be used to, but because there is no 'up' or 'down' in zero gravity, every flat surface can be a floor. Or a ceiling. Or a wall. I also hadn't appreciated that most of the time it sounds like you are in a giant hairdryer. Oh, and you have to be a bit careful with the old liquids...

"You don't need a seat, cos you don't sit down. Actually I haven't sat down for 6 months now..."
